Adhesive Anchor Training Welcome to the DEWALT Adhesive Anchor Training page where you can submit a training request for the New York City Metro area. NYCDOB Adhesive Anchor Installers Letter (DEWALT) - COVID Expiration Extension The DEWALT Adhesive Anchor training program is offered to contractors, inspectors as well as engineers and is approved in accordance with NYCDOB Building Bulletin 2015-033. The course is taught on Tuesday and Thursday. The maximum amount of installers which can be trained at one time is six and there must be at least two registrants for the course for it to be administered on any given day. The first part of the course is classroom style presentation covering a variety of relevant topics followed by an exam. The remainder of the time is spent on the two graded installations which both need to be passed in order to successfully complete the course. The class is a pass / fail course, so registrants must pass all three sections to receive the course installer card. Each installer must bring a government issued ID to the class, and upon passing the course, each installer will be given a laminated certification card which is good for three years from the issue date.
